GymTracker: Workout Log — Effective date: April 9, 2026 — Last updated: April 9, 2026
✔ No account required — workout data stays on your deviceThis Privacy Policy describes how GymTracker (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) handles information when you use GymTracker: Workout Log on iOS. We are committed to being transparent about our data practices.
By using GymTracker you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.
GymTracker is an offline-first workout tracker. All content you create — exercises, sets, reps, weights, routines, and training history — is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. We do not operate servers that collect or store your workout data.
We do not collect, and the app does not transmit to us:
The free version of GymTracker displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. We have configured AdMob to serve non-personalized ads only. This means:
Google AdMob may receive certain technical information as part of serving ads (such as IP address, device type, and general location at the country level) for purposes including fraud prevention and ad delivery. This processing is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
You can remove all advertising permanently by upgrading to GymTracker Pro via an In-App Purchase.
GymTracker offers optional premium features (GymTracker Pro) through In-App Purchases processed exclusively by Apple’s App Store. We do not collect, see, or store your payment information. All billing, transaction processing, and subscription management are handled by Apple.
Purchase and subscription data (such as whether you have an active entitlement) is managed through RevenueCat, a third-party service that verifies App Store receipts. RevenueCat receives a unique, non-reversible app user identifier to confirm entitlement status. No name, email, or payment details are shared with RevenueCat. For more information, see RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
For Apple’s data practices related to purchases, see Apple’s Privacy Policy.
GymTracker uses local notifications to alert you when your rest timer ends between sets. Notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any external server, push notification service, or third-party SDK. Granting notification permission is optional — the app is fully functional without it.
Because your workout data is stored exclusively on your device, you control it entirely. You can delete individual workouts or routines from within the app at any time. Uninstalling GymTracker removes all locally stored data from your device.
We do not hold copies of your workout data on any server. There is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
GymTracker is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us at the email below.
The following third-party services may process limited technical data as described above:
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of information. Because GymTracker does not collect personal data directly, most requests are best handled by the relevant third-party services listed above. For any questions or concerns, you may contact us directly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
